DARUL HANA BRIDGE & THE DEWAN UNDANGAN NEGERI (DUN), KUCHING

Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak (DUN), Petra Jaya

Based on a structural arched column concept. The cross-section of the building is shaped as a nine-pointed star, while the roof is designed to mimic a Malaysian royal umbrella. The curved columns posed an engineering challenge to design and construct.

Darul Hana Bridge, Kuching Waterfront

An elegant curvilinear space frame structure supported from two diametrically inclined towers by an array of almost invisible cables, creating an illusion of a floating walkway over Sungai Sarawak at the Kuching Waterfront.
