The Mechanical and Electrical Divisions of KTA has diversified expertise. With probably the largest team of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineers in a consultant firm in Sarawak, this division provides all aspects of mechanical and electrical services such as air-conditioning systems, fire protection, plumbing, power supply, telephone and lift design for high-rise buildings, hostels and institutional buildings. This Division also offers specialised services for hospitals (medical gas and scavenging, steam boilers, sterilisation and disinfection, kitchen and laundry, x-ray imaging, nurse call), airports (navaids, comaids and airfield ground lighting), stadiums (floodlighting and scoreboards), assembly buildings (conference system), water treatment plants (process control, supervisory control and data acquisition), and high-tech electronic factories (clean room design, gas scrubber systems, deionised water and industrial waste treatment systems).
